The Team

SDGA is a merger of expert talents created to deliver the best of design,

construction and service offered in the Southeastern & Northern Michigan Regions. The experts are:

   Sean D. Gardella

Sean’s experience, passion and ingenuity stem from a 20 year career offering both design and construction for satisfied Clients from Michigan to New York. His background is based in ultra-high end custom home building for the past twenty years. His ability to design and build structures of complex nature and award winning-cutting edge architecture have garnered him a Clientele list of the best professionals in their fields. He thrives on offering Clients exceeding customer service, fiscal responsibility and value engineering through the entire design / build process. Sean has a degree in Accounting from Boston College and is a Certified Green Profession by the NAHB.

   Najwa Iannuzzi

As Design Coordination Manager, Najwa guides each Client and their Interior Designers through the process seamlessly. Her passion for design, serving Client's every need and communicating the Client's vision to the field. Najwa has a degree in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University and is a member of the ASID.

   Renee Pricopio

The Construction Coordinator role is the glue behind the SDGA Team.  Renee manages the process flow from the "War Room" at the SDGA offices and make certain each team member is coordinating with over 1,500 Vendors and other team members. Renee's background is in office management where she host a degree from Detroit College of Business.

   Raymond Gardella

As Executive Supervisor, Ray brings his abilities as a seasoned veteran of the residential construction industry, of 48 years; there isn't a situation that Ray hasn't encountered. His drive to get the job done and his passion for the arts have given him the ability to successfully deliver home after home.

   Karen Mardirosian

The Accounting Manager role at SDGA is key to the function and flow of our process.  Karen has numerous years of experience in job cost accounting; with this skill set Karen manages both the SDGA accounting system and provides the vital information to our Clients that allows them to manage their construction finances throughout the process. 

   Jesus Garcia

As Site Maintenance Manager, Jesse has far ranging responsibilities to ensure each job site is safe, clean and ready for the next task.  Jesse's knowledge of the process and meticulous attention to detail keep projects moving forward with unwavering quality.

   Tyrone Brown

At SDGA we are committed to having excellent communication with our Clients and our Trades in the field.  Part of this effort includes three dimensional scaled drawings.  Ty has a rich history as an illustrator, AutoCAD operator and Revit draftman.  With his superior skills Ty produces accurate scaled 2D & 3D drawings for SDGA and their Clients.

Sean believes in his personal involvement in every step of the process. He prides himself on spending time in the field with every project. It is this time spent that he learns better materials and practices to ensure our Clients the very best that our management experience has to offer.

Philanthropy

Creating New Worlds for Children and Adults with Deafness, Hearing and Vision Loss

Sean Gardella actively supports the Holley Institute, a non-profit organization that provides life-enhancing programs for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, including new born screening,

American Sign Language classes, full audiology services and a variety of family programs. In 1993 the Holley Institute commenced a development, the Family Village, for the deaf on Vineyard Lake in the Irish Hills Region of Michigan. The first complex built for the institute was a building that houses 24 families for lodging and networking. Five years later the a performing arts building, The Village Commons, was added for the assembly and deaf stage performances. Most recently, a third building, a fine arts building for deaf artist and students, was added.


Sean D. Gardella, acting Vice Chairman, remains committed to assisting Ardis Gardella and the Holley Institute in annual fund raising programs for the deaf.

Running for our disabled Vets!

Sean is part of the HFOT Bank of America Chicago Marathon Team. Together with fellow participants he will raise $60,000 toward the HFOT mission to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives!
